For best results hair should be about a quarter to half an inch long so the wax can grip the hair. If hair is shorter, we may ask you to wait a week or two before waxing.

Some discomfort is normal during waxing, especially on first appointments. Our therapists use techniques and calming measures to minimize pain, and regular waxing often becomes less uncomfortable as hair becomes finer and sparser.

Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular appointments can help extend intervals and lead to finer regrowth over time, improving comfort and appearance.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy lotions or oils. Exfoliating a few days beforehand helps prevent ingrown hairs, but avoid exfoliating the day of the appointment to reduce sensitivity.

Waxing isn't recommended for sunburned, irritated, broken, or recently shaved skin. Certain medications, skin conditions, pregnancy, or recent cosmetic procedures may also affect suitability—please disclose health details during booking process.

Avoid hot baths, tight clothing, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours to prevent irritation. Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer and exfoliate after 48 hours to reduce ingrown hairs afterwards.
