Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Arms.

Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual factors. Regular waxing can extend time between appointments as hair regrows finer. Touch-ups every four to six weeks maintain optimal results.

Some sensitivity is normal, especially first time, but most clients report tolerable discomfort. Exfoliate gently a day before, avoid caffeine immediately before your appointment, and our therapists use soothing techniques and numbing products if needed to minimize pain.

Avoid heavy moisturizers on the day of waxing so the wax adheres properly. Exfoliate 48 hours prior to remove dead skin, keep hair at least quarter-inch long, and inform us of recent retinol or medication use for safe treatment.

Waxing can cause temporary redness or small bumps; these typically subside within 24 to 48 hours. To reduce ingrown hairs, exfoliate regularly, moisturize with non-comedogenic products, and consider professional extractions if ingrowns occur.

Hair should be about a quarter-inch long (approximately five to seven millimeters) so the wax can grip properly. If hair is too short, wait until it grows; if too long, trim slightly. We'll assess length at arrival and advise accordingly.

Contraindications include sunburned or irritated skin, recent chemical peels, active acne outbreaks, open wounds, or certain medications like isotretinoin. Pregnant clients should disclose pregnancy and health conditions. Our therapists will screen during booking and recommend alternatives if waxing isn't suitable.
